At the end of last year a few friends and partners within the industry shared an idea of focusing on producers and saying thank you. No brands, no product message just the producers. Similar to the RAM trucks super bowl farmer commercial, but with no brand connected just the farmer, with an overall theme of Farmers feed life.
Grain SA committed and challenged young talented individuals at Lumico to create something. They used Oom Dietz Meiring’s Poem – Jy sê jy wil boer my seun? Explaining the complexities of farming but also the love and passion within agriculture. Grain SA showed it to the farmers at our congress and posted it on our Facebook and it went viral, within half a day is was shared more than 1200 times and reached more than 130 000 people.
