News release by Agricultural Writers SA on the awards for the Farmer, Agriculturalist and Developing Farmer of the Year 2007

Lemons without pips, excellent show animals, thousands of hectares of grain crops and potatoes, as well as two former Springboks! This is what you will find on the menu on Friday night at the Agricultural Writers SA's National Farmer and Agriculturist of the Year Awards function.
The nine farmers and nine agriculturists from across the country will know on Friday, 9 November 2007, who will walk away with the title of National Farmer of the Year and National Agriculturist of the Year. This year, there will once again be an award for the Developing Farmer of the Year as well. The function will be held at the Birchwood Conference Centre in Boksburg.
